This 3 inch catback exhaust is the same design as our popular stainless version but less expensive. By using aluminized piping we save you money without a sacrifice in performance. Mufflers, Y pipe, welds and hangers are done in 304 stainless to ensure long life.

What's different about the optional downpipes listed here and on your downpipe page?

These downpipes are esentially the same with a 3" exit. They are 304 stainless with interlock flex.

What's the difference in resonators?

-Magnaflow is 409 stainless and straight through. Maximum flow.

-Chambered is aluminized and quieter than the Magnaflow but makes about 5 less HP on most cars, 15 less on turbo cars.

-Whisper is quiet with nearly zero HP loss.

What if I don't like the sound or it drones on the highway?

You can ship them back for adjustment.  This is a ZZP exclusive but does require shipping one or both of the mufflers back.

A customer brought us his car, his car made 230whp on our dyno, we dropped his 3" custom local muffler shop exhaust and made 322whp(open headers), then we installed our aluminized catback without a resonator and the OEM muffler option and it made 315whp.  That means our aluminized catback made 85whp over his muffler man special!
