In stock form the Grand Prix has 11" rotors and single piston cast iron brake calipers. This is a far cry from a performance braking system and barely meets what we would consider minimum requirements to stop the car.
As the ultimate in braking upgrades many users have learned that the brakes found on late model Camaros and Firebirds are nearly compatible. They feature dual piston aluminum calipers and operate over a 12" rotor. Dual piston calipers allow much greater braking with the same fluid pressure applied. This makes for accurate, responsive braking with less effort. Using aluminum keeps these calipers 5 pounds lighter than stock iron calipers! ZZPerformance is proud to bring you an easy to install, complete package to upgrade your Wbody.
Base kit includes:

For Wbody's already equipped with 12" rotors, this calipers will drastically increase stopping power.
For older Wbody cars with 11 inch rotors, you will need to upgrade to 12 inch rotors to use these calipers.
*We recommend using blue loc tite on the caliper bracket bolts.
**These will not fit with 97 crosslace wheels
***UPS shipping only.
We are now using calipers from GM that have the correct 14mm mounting bolts in them. This means that your F-body kit will use the same factory bolts as your stock caliper.
-No more downsizing to a 12mm bolt
-No more adaptor sleeve for installation
Shown on right is the old style, shown on left is the new caliper bracket with 14mm thread.
